The component that excited me the most was the LFO because I liked how it could make the sound repeat and change over time. The different waveforms were also interesting because they can completely change the character of a sound. These effects remind me of electronic sounds and effects used in a lot of the music I listen to.

Envelopes felt the most foreign to me, especially understanding how attack, decay, sustain, and release all work together. I would like to learn more about how envelopes and LFOs can be used when creating MIDI music. I think understanding those controls better will help me make more interesting sounds for the project.
